High School: All-Division, All-State, NEMCABB All-Star game selection during his high school career. Played for 4 different coaches in high school. Jamie Russell, Jeff Cook, Jimmy Barta and Chris Langley. Hit .509 his senior year and won the offensive MVP award at the NEMCABB All-Star Game.
Community College: Played one season for Coach Kent Ferris at Northeast Mississippi Community College and hit .380.
Blue Mountain College: Ben started at several different positions during the 2011 season at Blue Mountain. He played the first half of the season at 2nd and 3rd base before seeing action at shortstop at the end of the season. Led the team in homeruns with 6. Hit the first hr in the history of the Blue Mountain College baseball program last year vs. Toogaloo.
Personal: Full name is Benjamin Allen Wallis. Son of Benny and Regina Wallis. Brother Will is a catcher for Delta State University. Attends Ripley Church of Christ. Named Honorable Mention All-Conference last season by the Transouth coaches. Made the Transouth All-Academic Team last season.
