WHEN: June 2-6, 2013LOCATION: Blue Mountain College is located on Highway 15 between New Albany and Ripley, MS. FACILITIES: Tyler Gymnasium (air conditioned) and outdoor courts on the Blue Mountain College campus will be the training sites. Swimming and Tennis will be available to the campers. A concession stand will be open during camp. MEALS AND HOUSING: Campers will be served lunch in the College Dining Hall which serves a variety of meals. Coaches may house out of town teams at area motels. The campers will be housed in Whitfield Dormitory on the BMC Campus. WHAT TO BRING: Linens, pillows, toilet articles, towels, playing clothes, extra socks, and recreational equipment. COST: $175.00 covers the entire cost of camp which includes camp tuition, room, board, and a camp t-shirt. AWARDS PRESENTATION: Awards will be presented Thursday afternoon following the Championship games. They will consist of Tournament Champions and contest winners. HEALTH CARE: Five physicians serviced by the Tippah County Hospital are on call in case of emergencies. Campers are expected to have their own insurance. AGE: Grades 6-9 (Jr. High) for the 2012-2013 school year. ENROLLMENT: Camp enrollment is limited and will be strictly on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis. Each application must be accompanied by a $50.00 deposit. We will confirm your application by returning a deposit receipt and camp information. This deposit is non-refundable. Those applications received after the enrollment is full will be placed on a waiting list. If a place does not open, we will return the deposit. STAFF: The camp will be under the direction of Coach Lavon Driskell, Head Women's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Blue Mountain College. He has been in the coaching profession for 38 years. Coach Driskell will be assisted by many outstanding high school coaches. The Lady Toppers Basketball team will serve as counselors.
