BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – The ICC golf duo of Nicholas Brown and Kirk Reeder have signed to be a part of the BMC Golf team this season.

During high school, Brown claimed two 1st place titles in district while at Mooreville High.  He later was part of an ICC program where he was a part of the top five on the team.

"It's an honor to continue my path in academics and on the golf course here at Blue Mountain College," Brown said.

Reeder is a Tupelo High School alum who helped guide the Golden Wave to six state titles during his career at the North Mississippi school.  He's also the owner of the Pros of Tomorrow title and was considered one of ICC's best golfers.

"This is a great opportunity for me at BMC, and I hope to continue my success here," Reeder stated.

ICC head coach and former BMC assistant softball coach Cary Simmons said of the duo, "From day one, Nicholas has been a solid, consistent student-athlete who is there in all situations on the course.  Kirk has always had the work ethic and energy.  He was a great contribution to our program and I know he'll be at BMC."

BMC head coach Kevin Barefield replied, "It's always great when we can sign two guys who have played together and understand each other's dynamic.  Nicholas and Kirk are outstanding student-athletes who understand what it takes to win and be successful in all aspects.  We're looking forward to having them on the team."
