BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Tyler Shaver, a 6-0 guard from Anderson, Mo., has signed a basketball grant-in-aid with Blue Mountain College.
Shaver, who will be a sophomore, played his freshman year at Ecclesia College for new BMC coach J.D. Parker.
“Tyler was a key contributor to our program at EC,” Parker said. “He’s a very athletic player with really good skills and I’m excited to have him at BMC.”
As a freshman, Shaver averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.5 steals in 28 games. He was a three-year all-state prep player at McDonald County High, averaging 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists his senior season.
