Mooreville's Hussey signs with BMC
BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Chelsea Hussey, a 5-foot-11 inside player at Mooreville High, has signed a basketball grant-in-aid with Blue Mountain College.
Hussey, who missed most of her senior season because of a knee injury, averaged 13 points per game for the Lady Troopers her junior season along with 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
“We’re glad to have Chelsea as part of the Lady Toppers program,” said BMC coach Lavon Driskell. “She’s worked really hard to rehabilitate her knee and has a bright future at BMC.
“She has good size and plenty of speed and quickness to blend in nicely with our style of play, and we look for Chelsea to develop into an outstanding player.”
